Meet Aimee

My girls are in their teens now, but after becoming a new mom years ago I struggled—emotionally, physically.

I lost myself in mothering by putting my kids' needs above mine. While I loved being a mom, feelings of exhaustion and overwhelm became my new normal. I had horrible eating habits and I was out of shape. While I knew fitness would help me feel better, I didn't have the focus or energy to take good care of myself—so I stayed stuck in my rut a lot longer than I should have.

Eventually I decided to hire a personal trainer.

I'd love to tell you that was the beginning of the inspiring journey to my fittest self, but something terrible happened instead:

My well-intended fitness trainer was inexperienced and over-zealous. She ended up breaking my back. Literally. 

 
 

It took multiple surgeries to fix my back. I was devastated. Depressed.

Somehow in the midst of it all, I had a spark of determination. Even though I didn't know how any of it would be possible, I decided I wasn't going to give up on my dream of being fit and strong.

I immersed myself in fitness education.

As I rehabilitated, I became stronger—physically and mentally. It took years of hard work and rebuilding, but I eventually became:

  • a certified fitness trainer

  • a fitness competitor (stepping on stages in DC, Miami, Las Vegas, Boston and Pittsburgh)

  • a model in fitness magazines

  • a gym owner

  • a speaker, workshop leader, and trainer of trainers

Over the past decade I’ve helped thousands of people step out of their self-doubt (and self-loathing) to evolve into the fit, lean versions of themselves they’d previously only dreamed was possible.

The key to my success?

I keep my clients safe by utilizing a research-based approach to strength training and fat loss. My clients enjoy fine-tuned, personally tailored fitness plans designed around their unique bodies, busy schedules, and self-improvement goals.

What’s more? I know how it feels to be a busy parent and professional juggling a hectic life. People like us don’t have time for fluffy, shallow nonsense. We want to do what works. Period.
